The private panel is the safe default
Use the unified chat to read, reply and moderate without switching windows. Check the selector before you send: you can pick a channel or All, which sends to the channels available for sending. To reply on just one source, select that channel.
On Twitch, the simulcasting documentation allows tools that combine activity for personal use. That fits the panel and the floating window that stay only on your monitor.
The overlay is a different decision
When the feed becomes a Browser Source, a message written on one platform shows up inside the video streamed to the others. Before you turn it on:
- keep the platform icon visible;
- hide commands that start with
!; - set a message limit and a fade-out time;
- test moderation and long names;
- let your community know when that context matters.
Don't use the overlay as a way to send the audience of one stream to another. On Twitch, actively promoting the simultaneous stream somewhere else falls under the simulcasting restrictions.
Moderation doesn't carry over on its own
Deleting a message on Twitch doesn't guarantee it's removed from YouTube or Kick. The action applies on the channel and platform that accept that operation. The panel cuts down on alt-tabbing; it doesn't turn three moderation systems into one.
To put the feed in OBS with these options visible, follow how to add the Corneta overlay.
