Corneta guides
Methods, destinations, limits, and multi-platform decisions.
Guide
Twitch and YouTube allow streaming the same content on other platforms. Kick partners can too, but they need to turn on Multistreaming, and their revenue is calculated differently during that time.
Guide
OBS sends one signal. From there, you choose who distributes it: a local app, a plugin or a cloud relay. Upload and control decide the best path.
Guide
To stream in both formats, keep the main signal in 16:9 and re-encode the vertical destination with a 9:16 crop. Copying the horizontal picture to a vertical platform usually produces bars, a wrong crop or a rejected stream.
Guide
You can send the same stream to Twitch and YouTube at the same time. Get both accounts ready, add up the bitrates and use a separate destination for each stream key.
Guide
Set up one stream key per platform, add up the three bitrates and test your heaviest scene. On Kick, partners need to turn on Multistreaming, and their payout changes during that time.
Comparison
Local multistreaming gives you direct control and keeps the keys on your PC, but it adds up the upload of every output. A cloud relay uses one local output and replicates it elsewhere, with another dependency in the path.
Guide
If only one platform is reconnecting, don't stop the whole stream. Pause that destination, check the key and server, check the platform's status and resume once the cause is isolated.
